Dianne Martin

​I am a printmaker and painter who has lived and maintained my studio in Long Island City since 1983.

 

My work derives from nature, specifically my garden, using real things on my etching press to create monotypes that I develop with other materials. I'm interested in using the press as a tool to create an image, letting the process create that image.

 

I am a graduate of Rhode Island School of Design and the University of Iowa.
