DRAWINGS IN A TIME OF RENEWAL
Curated by Carol Crawford & Jorge Posada
SECOND ANNUAL ONLINE DRAWING EXHIBITION
DRAWINGS IN A TIME OF RENEWAL
CURATORS' STATEMENT
"Drawing is the most direct, simple, economical, and elemental tool at hand to capture an idea and propel it into the realm of the world. With that premise in mind, the LIC Artists organization is open to the creative response from artists who answered its annual drawing salon.
Drawings in a Time of Renewal is a complement to LICA’s 2020 show Drawings in a Time of Social Distancing. The artworks selected this year are an excellent example of how in times of confinement or in times of returning to normalcy artists always find a way to express their feelings and to respond creatively to external issues that affect the art they produce."
