Ellen Mandelbaum
Ellen Mandelbaum is an Accredited Artist-Designer of The Stained Glass Association of America (SGAA) and is internationally recognized for her contemporary glass painting and stained glass commissions. She has taught glass painting on behalf of the SGAA and is now offering private and small classes in her Long Island City studio.
Mandelbaum's art has been featured in several one-person exhibitions including the Queens College Art Center and Gallery35 in Manhattan. She invented Inner Windows, stained glass panels that can be hung on a wall without windows - for the 2015 LICA exhibit in Chelsea. A founding member of The Women's International Glass Workshop she has participated in group exhibits all over the world and has received awards from The American Institute Of Architects (AIA), and The Williamsburg Art & Historical Society (WAH), among others. She holds an MFA with honors in Painting from Indiana University, Bloomington, IN.
