Jane Epperson
Jane Epperson is an abstract painter, collage and assemblage artist. Her work is an exploration of the smallest universes around us- the nano world. Inspired by microscopic imagery, she makes connections from the micro to the macro, constructing universes inside of universes. The "Nano Dreams" dimensional paintings are the result.
An additional strand of her work is the "Cows Weep" series. This series of political high relief/assemblage paintings and collage are inspired by the understanding of the price paid by farmed animals in order to stock our grocery stores and asks the question- Is there truly a humane way to slaughter any animal?
