Kimberly Abbott

Kimberly is an intuitive artist whose art is abstract with influences of nature, with the colors leading the emotions of the shapes. She draws her inspiration from the mystery that is life and is driven by music and affectivity.

"Abstract is where I feel at home as it allows me to delve deeper into the themes, words, emotions I am aiming to express. When starting a painting, I may have colors and/or shapes in mind but ultimately the piece itself will tell me where to go while allowing my emotions, surroundings and music to help guide me through the process. And having been a professional singer for many years, you can certainly find me singing while painting!! It's an additional release for me and I find that it greatly contributes to my work."
