My paintings seek to capture the viewer's gaze, search for direct contact with them. They want to establish a close connection, share a moment, be observed again and again. Through painting, I can articulate a dimension of human experience that mere words cannot reach. There is a little distinction between myself and my work: we define and explore each other daily, growing simultaneously.
