Rouska Valkova
My work is executed in porcelain and is for interior spaces. It combines geometrical forms in composition. I prefer minimalism in white with slight relief and straight lines. The driving force behind my ceramic art work is simplicity enriched by the reflex of light. I prefer to work with molds and cast in porcelain slip. I sometimes use porcelain clay for minimal decorations.
When I work I try to create a dialogue between every form and composition I put together. My work makes me feel free, makes my thoughts and visions align. Each new project gives me an idea for what the next one might be.
